Eliza’s closest friend. He is like a brother to the heiress, though at one point when they were children he did have an innocent interest in her. Atticus is extremely protective and tries to keep Eliza out of trouble or harm wherever he can; even if he does not think through his actions and their consequences, he tries to do what he thinks is best for her.

[Any pitch; possibly Medium or High]

[Charming, jokester, genuine, sweet, protective]

[Caucasian]

*Edit: I picture his voice similar to Liam Hemsworth's (with or without Liam's accent, both are suitable).

  • Introduce yourself!

  • (concerned, coaxing, but gentle) You can tell me anything, Liz. You know that. I can see that you’re in pain, so please, let me help you. Just tell me what's hurting, and I'll get rid of it.

(concerned, shocked) Your majesty, your daughter... Something is quite wrong. I believe a witch may have placed a hex on her mind. She is not acting herself, and I'm afraid we may lose her if we do not act quickly.

  • (somber) If you wish me gone, I must go. I will leave you be, and you may never see me again. I am sorry, I truly am. If it is in your power, I hope you may find the will someday to forgive me.

Not too good with introductions, but uhh I guess all you should know is that I'm extremely new at this voice acting thing. Still gave it my all though. I've been kind of having a passion crisis, but it seems all things have led me here. Hopefully things pan out the way I like. I'm with deep desire to freelance and travel. I wasted most of my teenage years being emotional, and lazy. Been trying to make up for it somehow. So yeah, my real name is Justin, and I'm 20 years old.

Thank you for your audition! Your voice and tone was a little too timid for Atticus' character, but it was interesting to listen to. You could also put a little more passion behind your voice, more of an 'umph' factor in order to liven up the lines. I feel like you do have a lot of potential though, so just continue to practice and open up your voice a little at a time, and you will definitely improve! Thank you again!

Thank you for the feedback. I'll definitely continue practicing. I did a few reads of this character a few days before, and Ive already been noticing details I wasnt getting down correctly. With time, I'm sure I'll improve. With zero prior acting experience, I think its a good start.

Another thing, though I did probably miss one of the biggest traits to Atticus. I do feel better equipped now. A "protector" probably shouldnt sound as timid as it did. But, I was sort of under the impression that he was a very sensitive type so that is what came out. A voice that commends a good amount of strength, bit of gentleness, and sureness probably makes more sense in this case.
