The narrator of our story. Their dialogue is mostly storybook-like exposition, but, there is some narrator interaction with Bowser at the start.
I am looking for a medium-low to medium-pitched voice. While I would prefer a male-voiced narrator, the role is open to all and I am open to that preference changing. The narrator's voice should be enticing and really catch the listener's attention, even if we know the story. Narrator dialogue should be read like a fantastical storybook.

[The story begins] “Today… I'm going to tell the story of 'Star Spirits and Good Wishes'. Far, far away, beyond the sky, way above the clouds, it's been said that there's a haven where the Stars live. In the sanctuary of Star Haven there rests a fable treasure called the Star Rod, which has the power to grant all wishes. Using this wondrous Star Rod, the seven revered Star Spirits watched over our peaceful world carefully...very carefully. [KAMMY KOOPA is taped into the story by BOWSER] And then… Oh dear… What the...? Who stuck that weird thing into this story?"
[BOWSER steals the Star Rod] “Stop it! Cut it out, Bowser!! You’re changing the story!”
[The story pans away from Star Haven] "Now Star Kids may rise to the Star Haven to deliver people's wishes… ...but those wishes will not come true. Whatever can they do…?"
