SUPPORTING ROLE
Vega is the eldest member of the famous band The Traveling Troubadours. They are tall, bombastic, and have vividly purple hair.
They are the first member of the band that we meet besides Amara. They welcome her to the band and become a bit of a mentor to the young musician.
Vega sometimes comes across as a bit flippant or dismissive, but would move heaven and earth for their friends, and convinces the band to make a months-long journey to Amara's hometown when she hears of her sister's illness.
Vega's gender hasn't been decided yet, and can be changed to suit any actor. Vega is open to any actor regardless of identity or background. Vega is planned to reappear towards the end of the series.

Each episode will be rehearsed during a live remote table read with the other actors, director, and producer in order to provide notes and feedback. A secondary recording session will then be scheduled so the actors can interact and record their final takes. If necessary, pickups will be requested outside of the scheduled calls.
The goal will be to have as many actors as possible present for the reads to make the acting feel natural and believable, but scheduling will be flexible to accommodate each actor's availability.
AMARA: I think…I think that went well. // VEGA: Oh you “Think that went well?” Amara, you were incredible! // AMARA: Oh, well, it wasn’t– // VEGA: Don’t be humble! You killed it! Come on. Let’s go get some drinks and you can meet your adoring fans!
Oh. Oh, honey, I’m so sorry. We’re not scheduled to head that way for another few months. I’ll…I’ll talk to the band and see what I can do.
