Star Cadet Kieran, aged 17, graduated from Space Ranger Academy with middling grades. He has a very offputting personality and is unliked by most. This is his 6th deployment on a ship and his longest by far, 2 months. At first glance he may seem like a hard worker but in reality he just takes doing nothing very seriously. If doing nothing was a job, he would be a professional. He cares little for Arthur and gives Daniel the minimum amount of respect needed not to be kicked off the ship, but he admires Mother for seeing past his mistakes and flaws.
He can be played by both women and men.
He has a nasally, high-pitched voice. His voice should be that of a "nerdy" teen. (hollywood's idea of a nerd)

You die on the 23rd of August, Danny. (Said with an uncharacteristic amount of hatred and seriousness in a low tone. The nasal nature of his voice being gone.)
