Gigaphone for The American Dream aka James Smith
The American Dream is a relic of an older age of heroes, being resurrected by the government hero agency out of pure luck. He possesses the standard super soldier package all with the added bonus of mental instability. After spending decades as a slave to the US military, James came back with few more issues than the agency bargained for. He was brought back with the sole intention of being drafted onto the Omegas, standing as a testament to superheroes and modern day science and technology.
Even after spending decades as a brainwashed bloodthirsty secret agent/superhero, all James ever wanted to be was a human. A living breathing man with hopes and dreams. Given free will and choice by the agency, James is now in the best possible condition to do so.
While having a stern and gruff tone to his voice, you can tell James really cares about all life around him. His personal dilemma is not wanting to fall back into his roots of killing without mercy, and has trouble carrying out missions. Of course, he sometimes slips back into his old programming by "sheer accident" in order to finish the job.

"Aliens, eh? So those exist now too? What's next, a talking mouse?" [Note! James laughs after this line]
"How can I be a superhero if I can't even kill a single mindless alien? I was the All American Man, tough as a bull moose, skin as thick as iron... How has my life dwindled down to this...?"
"Jimmy's not home right now." [Note! This line is said whenever his brainwashing takes over, he's coldhearted and mindless.]
