BANDIT CHIEF You see all these wrecked trucks? They're almost all ours. Our men drove them for the chance to get into that City. We're not afraid to keep trying. (beat) I can see the two of you are well nourished, well hydrated. We're starving and thirsty. Look at these children. Half them won't last to next year. We die all the time out here, and we don't need sonic pulses to kill us. CHARLES If you drive this to the gate, it’s not going to go the way you hope. BANDIT CHIEF We’ll take the risk. (shouting) Won’t we?!
