Nari is very short-tempered and quick to snap at anyone who expresses fear, typically lashing out towards the meeker Chihaya Yamase. Although she uses this front to suppress her emotions, she is shown to have a deep care for her friends and wishes them the best while she is trapped at Heavenly Host. Her fiery attitude is often kept at bay by Nana Ogasawara, one of her best friends.

I've had about all I can take of your whining! We're not in the safety of our own familiar little world anymore. People aren't going to bend over backwards to spare your feelings here! We're fighting for survival! It's every girl for herself!
