Turgize for Shu Nakajima
Shu Nakajima is a preppy boy who hired Yu Narukami as his personal tutor in order to set him on the course for a perfect future. However, over the course of the story, he begins to realize the flaws within this objective and begins to understand the importance of living life to the fullest.
Shu starts off as 13, an early teenager. So he definitely has that lighter tone of voice. It could also be a nice touch to have some cracks here and there but that's up to you.
"...it's Yu, right? Let me tell you up front: I have no intention of attending Yasogami High. The cram school I was going to wasn't that good, so I decided I needed to switch to private tutelage. You were the only one available, so.... If I find you inadequate, I'll have you replaced immediately. Remember that."
"It's.. It's not that big a deal... It's just the day I was born... . . . ...that just makes me wonder... Should I... Have been born...?"
"Heh. I cheated on a test, I got suspended... My permanent record must be a wreck. I've got right off the rails leading into a good college and a good company. But... I can see now that I don't have to be on that straight and narrow path. If I'd stayed on that rail, not thinking, not seeing anything except what was right in front of me... My life would've been empty......I'm going to think about my life and set my own path. I feel... like my life is just beginning. Not because I'm young... But because I just realized it."
