The Witch's Gloves
Claire for Grace Glover
Grace Glover is referred to as "The Good Girl With the White Gloves." She has been raised in a sheltered religious household and is away from home in College for the first time. She is kind, good mannered, and (initially) committed to her faith, but is still curious about what campus life has to offer her. Without spoiling too much, I'll say she goes through quite the change.
She is also the narrator.
It should be noted that this character shares a love scene with another female character. Nothing overtly graphic is spoken or acted out.
(Narration) It was the day after the Equinox. There had been a frat party, and somehow my room-mate, Christine, convinced me to go with her. My parents had warned me against going to these kinds of parties and especially drinking alcohol. It’s why they resisted sending me to college in the first place. Well here I was, Grace Glover, the good girl who always wore white gloves and never did anything wrong in her life, committing her first rebellious act. I guess it could have been worse.
(Chuckles) Is this some kind of love potion? I’m starting to wonder if you really are a witch. Aren’t they supposed to be evil beings? Followers of Satan? There’s stories of animal sacrifices and drinking blood, seducing men, hypnotizing young girls? Am I right?
(Scared Gasp - Freaking out) Oh my God! What did you do to my hand?! Stop it! Make it go away! This is just a nightmare! I want to go home!
