Hilla, aka. the Red Witch, was one of the chief Shamaness of Azwan, revered for her beauty and leadership of which she took pride in. However her beauty started to fade as she aged, and even though nobody noticed and was still treasured, her insatiable desire to stay beautiful corrupted her heart. This allowed the Black mage in, offering her eternal life, power and beauty in exchange for her loyalty and services. Hilla handed over her country, Azwan to the Black Mage as an offering, the people who once sang her praises turned to resentment, but Hilla didn't care. She had everything she desired. Even reviving the deceased population of Azwan for her undead army, and magic totems spread across the kingdom would continuously reanimate her fallen soldiers. She would collaborate with the other commanders in the Black Mage's advanced to conquer Maple World. In her final arc, she resides in the Labyrinth of Suffering, using it to play mind games and torment the Alliance and especially the player, until till they succumb from injuries. Just when all is lost, an inner voice of someone close to the player calls out to them, and gives them the strength to defeat Hilla. After Hilla is defeated, she she loses her eternal youth, turning her hair colour to white, as she eventually disappears.
