Makoto is a Squirrel Beastkin, a race of animal-people that are looked down upon, so much so that many of them live in poverty. Despite this, she was able to enroll in the military academy, where she was initally cold towards everyone, until the day she befriended Noel Vermillion and Tsubaki Yayoi. Ever since, one would describe her as a "Loose cannon", she's very extraverted, always speaks her mind even if it lands her in trouble, and fiercely protective of her friends. She isn't one to let her fears get the better of her, proffering to punch first and ask questions later. She is also somewhat of a hopeless romantic, having been in short-lived relationships with men and women before, the only one being close to serious was with her superior, Kagura Mutsuki, which, despite them staying friends many years later, ended when he refused to commit.

The character is foul-mouthed and sometimes breaks the fourth wall (The former can be worked around). She is also the ire of many female characters due to her... Distracting good looks.

The example of the voice is found here, it's mostly comedic, but you'll get the idea

  • (Comedically) You're not my sister! My sister doesn't have five'o clock shadow, and she's NOT ALWAYS SHOUTING! Seriously, it's annoying.

  • First of all, shut the hell up before I punch you again. Secondly, you already know why I'm in a no-nonsense mood. Captain Kisaragi is Tsubaki's friend, and I'm here to help her.

  • (dramatically) And if you did, why didn't you invite us?! Aw man, I heard there were some REALLY good restaurants in Kagutsuchi, too. Orient Town has some of the best Chinese food out there!

I see what you mean about the peeking. Aside from that, again, energy and voice are there, you'd would just need proper direction! If not for Makoto, I'll definitely consider you for a different role in the future!
