[In a busy market place]

{{ Lud: (trying to pass through a crowd) Excuse me, pardon me - [bumps into someone and makes them drop what they were carrying]

Lud: O-Oh dear, I am /terribly/ sorry about that, h-here... [goes to help pick item(s) up and nods apologetically with hands together] Apologies again madam, um - }}

Lud: [sees Jack] Jack! Oh thank heavens, there you are! [continues passing through the last of the crowd; opt. mild effort noises] (huff) I've been looking all over the place for you! Were you able to find the map again? 

[the map is almost completely eaten by a goat and it's still chewing on it]

Lud: [defeated; disappointed] Oh...

[has just blown a hole into Aku's tower]

Lud: [furious] AKU! You un-GODLY MUPPET! Where is he?! What have you done to Jack?!

.
[Jack and Lud have been travelling in a forest for days following a map, but Jack notices that they've been passing the same set of landmarks over and over ]
Lud: [quiet anger] You can't be serious... [sharp inhale through clenched teeth] You mean to tell me... that we have been going around in circles for an ENTIRE day?

Lud: [feeling faint] Oh good lord I'm done. [kneels and lies flat on back]

Jack: Smith, what- what are you doing?

Lud: [deadpan] Jack my friend, I am waiting for the earth to reclaim me. Care to join?

Perhaps our paths have crossed for a reason. (chuckles) I mean...  what are the odds of us coming across each other on so many different occasions? 

Is chance truly to blame? (pauses, smiles) 

(hushed but excited voice) Or is it fate, my good fellow?
