Ewoks are a small, primitive furry race of walking teddy bears that, during the time Starwind is set, have no presence in the galaxy. However, there is a spin-off mod for Starwind titled Endor, hence the Ewoks. They are a tribal group that does not understand Galactic Basic (English), and often need to be communicated with via a Protocol Droid. Ewoks are very distrustful of offworlders, but once befriended, they are loyal allies.
