Eastmouth: Season 2 (Small Town Mystery/Adventure/Horror)
Derreck for James Sherban
James is the loving husband of Deborah Sherban, one of the primary antagonists of this season. He's a school teacher with a love for fishing. The couple moved to Eastmouth a few years prior for mysterious reasons, and have since settled very well into small-town American life. He's a mild-mannered man of tall stature. His neighbors could not imagine a world in which he was capable of violence, at least not in a sane state of mind.
James is a minor character that shares in the spreading insanity caused by the artifact. Unlike his wife, he does not feel the strain of the relationship as their life of normalcy collapses around them.
[As your wife returns from her weekly council meeting, you take your gaze away from the radio.] "How was it, dear? Was Edna giving you a hassle again? Frankly, that woman would love to see this town raised to the ground if she thought she was taking a swipe at the 'sinning menace'. "
[Your mind has already begun to falter as you feel the pull of the artifact. You pull over into the parking lot of Angel's View Clinic. There are other cultists in the van with you. Deborah sits beside you in the passenger seat.] "Will she do, my love? That nurse over there? We only need one more for the night. " [Deborah replies, and James listens as if her descriptions of kidnapping are a new form of poetry.] "My love, I can't wait to see you brandish the knife. The way they squirm against their fate with such fear is damn-near erotic. "
