Katsuna is a human female who is on Starr's team and is one of Mee's Elite recruit students. She has a crush on her teammate, Mason, but is too shy to confess her feelings to him and is afraid he'll reject her. She isn't much of a conversationalist, and when she does speak, she doesn't say much. It's not that she speaks one word every time she's asked to speak; she speaks quite a bit, but her tone of voice is quiet, held back and shy. Katsuna's voice sounds sweet and friendly otherwise, and her personality is that to match. Despite not saying much, when she's facing opponents in battle, that shyness temporarily goes away. She will become fierce and angry and will stop at nothing to ensure the enemy is defeated. Katsuna is a sword user, carrying around her own custom-made sword, has had more than a decade of training with it.
(to Starr, after being told by her to ask Mason out) "Starr, I'm... I'm not sure if now is the best time to... to..." (fumbles her words for a second and groans at herself) "I don't know if I should ask him out right now. We are training to become Elites. We should focus strictly on that."
"Excuse me... umm... Mee? Oh my, this is gonna take a lot to get used to. Umm... Mister... Mee?" (Mee uptightly acknowledges there will be name confusion. Katsuna is a little taken aback by the harsh response) "I'm... I'm sorry, sir. I... I just don't know how to address you without saying your name, as if I'm referring to myself."
(in battle, she is fighting a Time Breaker who has severely injured one of her teammates) [unsheathes her sword, charges towards the opponent, lets out a growl that gradually gets louder] "GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR..." [slashes at the opponent, unleashes a fierce scream] "HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
