Sonic the Hedgehog in this issue of the comics has been basically forgotten by all of Mobius, and has seen his own children cease to exist as well as his lover, Queen Sally, being married to King Shadow. He starts off broken and worn down, but finds new confidence once he is able to face off against King Shadow later in issue 167 and regain his beloved queen back.

  • (Tired and burnt out, but still sarcastic) "I'll admit it, kiddo; I ask myself that a lot lately

  • (Broken down and Hopeless) "Not Sonia and Manik, though... They're gone forever. And Sally is married to Shadow... WHY?"

  • (A bit cocky and ready to fight) "Now that Sally's safe; battle royal time!"
