Hello PJDG! I think that your pacing was really good and it seems like you had good breathing control. It did not seem like you were taking breathing breaks, so that says a lot about your stamina! Although maybe it's just me, but it sounded like you were close to your microphone? It was like listening to ASMR (you have a soothing voice!), so maybe you can try moving away from the mic and projecting a louder voice with the "gymnasium full of people" in mind. I found that in my case, visualizing that I'm selling a bogus product to a bunch of pumpkin looking people helped me channel my inner swindler merchant tones so that might also be of help to you. Congrats on finishing our first homework! *Virtual high fives!
Thank you for the feedback, Ashe! I definitely was too close to the mic there haha. I will try to keep your points in mind. :D
Nice job! My main piece of advice for you is your breathing. As we discussed in class, shallow breaths are very easy to take, but that's why practicing the exercises discussed in class are so important. Every breath should be a POWERFUL one, giving you that energy you need to get through that tricky or long sentence. Speaking of which: energy. Bring the heat!! Speak from your gut!! Imagine you are on a stage, filling up the auditorium with your voice. This doesn't mean yelling or shouting or screaming, but powerfully speaking in a way that fills the room. Work on these things, and you'll find your voice improving rapidly. Great work!
