John Laurens is a young man who is fighting in the American Revolution and is very close friends with fellow revolutionary, Alexander Hamilton. He wants to abolish slavery and lead the first battalion of black soldiers. Phillip Hamilton is Alexander Hamilton's oldest child. He shares his father's intellect and defends his father's legacy from those who try to disparage it.

I really enjoyed both your performances, especially the one for Laurens! You have a great singing voice and you have a flexible emotional range, getting spunky on the rap verses and vulnerable when singing softly. If I was to choose from the two roles you auditioned for, I would definitely pick you for Laurens. It matches your voice very well. Wonderful job!
