Vixen has been the captain of the guard for twelve years now, and has taken on a parental relationship with one of the main characters over the years. He's a generally calm person who cares a lot about others and is willing to give up just about anything to protect the people closest to him. Including making a deal with a demon, his body, for enough power to keep the kid he sees as family from a looming threat. Luckily for him, his demonic counterpart ended up with a soft spot for him too.
(Calm, somewhat formal tone and introducing himself for the first time after he's revealed to be sharing his body) Nice to meet you, my name is Vixen Faust. I'm... sure this must be confusing. It's a fairly long story, but, Melis, the me you're used to seeing, is a demon. I agreed to lend him the use of my body in exchange for his power.
(Concerned, semi-parental tone) Hey... everything alright? I'm sorry... if you're used to Melis now... I can give him my body back. I know I've been gone a long time, I'm glad he's been looking after you. Seems like even demons have a soft spot.
(Calling out) Hey, who's there? (speaking softer) ...I thought I saw someone... I'll be right back.
