Soul Beneficiary - Audio Dramatization
Richard Savage for Nan
Noelle's grandma, whom Noelle lovingly refers to as "Nan." In her late 70s, she's a practical woman whose focus is always on seeing to the moment-to-moment needs of those around her. She and her husband, "Nanpa," raised Noelle after the death of her parents', their son and daughter-in-law. She's put her whole heart into raising her. She runs a tight ship when it comes to cleanliness, but she'll drop everything, even the feather duster, for a movie and popcorn with her loved ones.
Warm tone, full of love for those she cares for, but firm as well, especially when she feels her advice is being ignored.
Noelle! Dear, what on earth are you doing out in the rain? You'll catch your death! Oh my goodness, come inside!
I always knew you were going to be an artist. From the time you were little, you were creating masterpieces all over the house, anywhere you thought Nanpa and I wouldn't find your crayon marks all over the walls! Hehe! Didn't she, dear?
We love you so much, honey. You're our girl!
