I really like the voice in the second take for Gonta — but I think you still sound a bit too firm. Gonta is very much the archetype of the gentle giant, so he speaks softly. There is also an element of awkwardness in his speech, a result of his insecurities about coming across as stupid (there are multiple instances in which he outright calls himself "stupid" and "not smart boy"). His main goal is to be a gentleman, which also influences his polite and apologetic tone. The voice is there, the delivery can be worked on! Keep trying - if you want, of course! I think you have a lot of potential for the role.
