Matt is a 16 year old champion of chess. He is a great strategist but his social skills suck simply because he has low self-esteem and it comes from bullying but also the disconnect of family in his home life. Since this is a "short" I can't go too deeply into that but if this piece gets a lot of attention, I can make it longer. Anyways, his voice is medium-high. NO DEEP voices. Girls are welcome to try for his role as well! He's smart, but he's also gentle and he cries easily which frustrates him since he wants to prove he's tough enough now to handle himself. He doesn't understand the concept of love but he feels it when he meets Clarice.
You have to be able to cry realistically for him.

Please try for younger matt too! He and younger clarice do appear in a few flashbacks! And I really DO Like your guy voice. I just feel like it's better placed for a younger Matt. Please audition there so I can mull it over! :D

Perfect, can't wait to hear it! You don't have to really change your voice btw. As long as he sounds young it's fine and you do a good job of that here. Just sound a bit younger and yo're good but I did like your tone. :)
