An old friend of Balgruuf and Irileth, Jadier also currently lives in Whiterun but rather than Dragonsreach he inhabits the underground caverns that form the city's illicit basement. He is an amiable-but-shrewd fellow who likes his neighbors (even as he robs the wealthiest of them) but it is Balgruuf and Irileth who hold the chief corners of his heart. His lackadaisical behavior recently drove a wedge between the three, but Jadier still harbors a great deal of affection for them both. He is a Reachman, which makes some people balk, but he's warm-hearted and amiable and has no interest in bloodshed. His charismatic kindness and open attitude leave people regularly surprised when they discover how shrewd he truly is. His voice is generally easy-going, lilting, and cheerful.
