For as long as he can remember, Knuckles has been destined to protect the Master Emerald on the Floating Island, as the last member of his race. When Dr. Robotnik first met him, he tricked him into believing Sonic was a threat to the Emerald, to the point where the hedgehog’s ego can get irritating to him. After Robotnik’s plan, though, Sonic and Knuckles’ relationship improved and the red echidna would often go on his adventures, much like Tails, eventually encountering the Chaotix and would serve his purpose in later arcs.

Voice: Knuckles is portrayed as a rough and tough brute. For this version, have him give a low-pitch sound. Have him sound European, but for accents, it can be either Blackpool, British, or however you want to give him.
