Cashlin Snow for Petra
She is a no-nonsense, wildly informal middle-aged woman with a mind of her own. She’s not afraid to tell you exactly what she is thinking and doesn’t give much regard to your feelings. She’s difficult to crack, but once she decides your worth her time then she is your friend and soldier-in-arms for life. Her ice abilities make her a formidable opponent and she uses them with deadly force. Petra has a thing for Noah Finley, which makes the Renaissance leader quite uncomfortable. Petra finds it quite hilarious.
(In this scene, Petra has shown up at the home of the two brothers [Sol and Nic] and is demanding to be let in)
PETRA: *muffled through the door* Hey! Open up!
...
PETRA: *still muffled* What do I want? My name is Petra and this here is Rosie and Caleb. We can do some pretty amazing stuff and I'm guessing, since we found our way here to you, that you can too.
Now I WANT you to open this door before I decide to open it for you. And I promise...I will cause a lot more damage than you will.
...
PETRA: One.
...
PETRA: Two.
...
PETRA: You're really gonna make me do it? They're really gonna make me do it. You're really gonna make count to three.

PETRA: Now that's more like it!
Okay, like I was saying...my name is Petra, but you can call me the Ice Queen. What can you boys do?
(In this next scene, Petra is explaining to Sol and Nic the nature of her abilities and why they are here)
PETRA: Of course with your cards! What else would I be talking about?
...
PETRA: See that guy behind me? His name is Caleb and he can track people like us.
...
PETRA: People with cards, with abilities. Duh. You guys aren't very quick on the uptake are you?
...
PETRA: *matter-of-factly* Ah yes. Agent 9. They told us that you would be here. *sarcastically* Should've known that was the reason that they were still confused. You were the one they sent to clear things up for them.

PETRA: Finley wants the new assets brought in as soon as possible. We're here to speed up the process.
...
PETRA: Not exactly champ. Would you like to see?
...
PETRA: *eagerly* Okay, but first a handshake is in order. It's nice to meet you gents!
CRACKLING OF ICE AS PETRA GRABS NIC'S HAND

PETRA: My demonstration. I can lower the temperature of the moisture in the air as well as manipulate various bodies of water to subzero temperatures.

PETRA: *smiling* Sure is.
...
PETRA: Oh my! Asking a girl about her card on the first date? How rude!
...
PETRA: I don't need YOU giving me orders Caleb. Remember who's in charge here.
*quick pause* ...oh alright. Don't get your panties in a bunch. My card depicts the Greek goddess of winter, Khione (kee-oh-nay). Hopefully that makes it quite obvious about the nature of my power.
...
PETRA: Hahaha! You're funny. I think I like you. What was your name again?
(In this scene, explains more about the organization [the Renaissance] and what they are up to)
PETRA: Yeah, we came to check on you green recruits to make sure you're not hurting yourselves. I ah...see it was warranted based on that blood coming out of your head Nic.

PETRA: Oh quite a few...well, at least there used to be quite a few. And we're always picking up new recruits. Like yourselves.
...
PETRA: Yeah, good ole Noah has been around longer than any of us and has also been the head of the Renaissance for just as long.
...
PETRA: But he don't look a day over thirty-five. *sigh* Makes a woman jealous. *chuckling* Helps that he's not so bad on the eyes though.

PETRA: *defensively* Oh shove it, Roger. Leave me my vices.
...
PETRA: *interrupting* Can it, Roger. I can tell them the story.
...
PETRA: Right. So back in the beginning, our world came into existence. God, chance, something else...whatever you believe in, it happened. The details aren't specific and, in the grand scheme of our work, unimportant. What does matter is that for everything that has come into existence...everything that IS...there is a balance. A thing that is NOT.

PETRA: *interrupting again* I'M telling the story Roger. *ahem* We don't know for sure. Very early on in human history, it was discovered that certain individuals could imbue objects with cosmic energy that manifested in different ways depending on the person wielding that power. Again, we don't know how they discovered the process...but many ancient civilizations rose and fell because of the powers they commanded. All the power and energy they had at their disposal was balanced...by the Void.
