Ray's mother should be cold and bitter. Every interaction with Ray is unpleasant, and she should sound like even acknowledging her is worthless.
A tenor for this voice would be ideal, really amp up that violent tone and coldness.

  • (Disgusted, irritated, like a disbelieving snort.)
    "Amazing! Even my own daughter won't do as she's told?!"

  • (Angry and forceful, bitter.)
    "Don't you know?! Your being here has gotten me stuck in this hell... Your very existence is detestable. It's like I'm dealing with your worthless father— it makes me sick to my stomach."
