Fallout The Frontier Rework Round 1
A.J Chase for Gregor (In Flux)
You're a small-time slaver from the Frontier, but despite the size of your group, you're extremely cunning and good at telling lies, you don't give any tells or any indication you're hiding the truth. While acting as a Far Go trader, you sound a lot like a used car salesman - very personable, amicable, though you don't get personal. Despite acting like a merchant, it's clear you're a bit weathered by growing up in the harsh wasteland. After your true nature is revealed, you're a lot more sarcastic, cracking more jokes, but still giving off a friendly demeanor. You see slavery as just another job, nothing to be ashamed of. All in all, a weathered kind of guy (mid-30s) putting on a facade of being well-mannered.
Record all audition lines while referring to the notes below for each line and do one take of each line.
For the first audition line, the courier has asked you an innocent question. You are open to dispelling any worries and doubts the courier might have regarding you and your group.
For the second audition line, you and your group have drugged the courier, hoping to sell him off as a slave in the Frontier. You have the decency to give the courier some form of good conversation as the life ahead of him will be quite devoid of that.
For the third audition line, you are unlikely to make it out alive during this fight. Should be yelled out.
Not at all! It’s better you’re well prepared for the trip.
See, I wasn't being completely honest with you back in Nevada. The Frontier is a land of opportunity, but only for those who are capable or worthy.
Shit! Exiles! Shoot them down, now!
Leans a bit too much on the suave side for Lines 1 and 2. It sounds like you changed your distance from the mic or the mic positioning for Line 3.
No problem I can re audition with less suave and nuance, tried to match the quoted Car salesman style slaver as best I could with the given information. I can be a bit flatter in my next take. In regards to mic positioning I was screaming so with my microphone if I were to stay in the same position there would be incredibly poor audio with clipping.
Ah while you should be persuasive, there should also be more of a weathered nature to your voice. Regarding the screaming, I'd generally recommend to adjust the settings on your audio interface to avoid distortion.
Noted. I can lower my gain to offset any potential clipping. I am in the process of upgrading to a better microphone. My scarlet cm25 is quite weathered. I appreciate your time and honest feed back. I Will do my best to meet your standard in my next audition.
