Batman: Death of the Family Motion Comic Episode 1
Puzzled Pete for Harvey Bullock
Harvey Bullock, loud mouthed detective with a serious New York (or I guess it's called Manhattan?) accent. Age: Mid 30's to 40. He shows up a few times, although minor character compared to the main.
The video link below shows a scene with Harvey Bullock in Batman the animated series. If you can't do the accent, that's fine, just try to find a voice that fits the character.
(Sharing his slight fear of whatever is the next big crime, people will think it's supernatural)
"Hell, I'm just saying...with the river, the two headed kitty...whatever the hell is the next big crime is, it'll have the push of superstition behind it. We should all get ready for some blame.
(After Gordon not taking Harveys advice seriously) 'Seriously though, commissioner...that lion giving birth... everyone there to see, all the kids with their balloons? And what comes out but some...two headed monster?
Good audition. The accent is good. The only note is that your voice itself doesn't sound old enough to match Harveys age. I took your audition and plugged it into the video and lowered the pitch and it did sound better in my opinion. It matched Harvey a bit better. Do you think you are capable of lowering the pitch of your voice while keeping the accent? Besides that, I think Harvey is more laid back in this scene in terms of how much energy you gave in your own line reading. Thanks again for this audition.
