(restless, complaining) Hey, it’s too calm. The sea of clouds looks much better when it’s stormy. Fish flock to the surface when the rain is pouring and the wind is roaring. If the sea stays calm like this, fishermen like me won’t be able to make a living! 

(a bit apologetically, warning Kalas) We fishermen are a superstitious lot. Many say strangers bring bad luck, and that’s why we don’t welcome them. So they may not think too highly of you. No offense, but just… bad luck, ya know? 

Everyone’s having a poor catch, so they’re pretty edgy around here. You better not wander around too much.
