Yoshi is considered to be Mario’s best friend and closest ally he and Luigi have known for a long time, ever since he saved their race from Bowser in Dinosaur Island. Although Yoshi jokes around every now and then, the green dinosaur is loyal in helping Mario out through thick and thin than being a one-trick pony.
