Penny & Deony are human twins who live on their own, practicing their trade as tailors. Not knowing their birth parents, they were left on a seamstress's doorstep along with the Sacred Blossom Peony.
The demure brother, Deony, has great talent and patience for sewing, but is fairly shy and withdrawn.

My twin sister Penny...is the coolest person I know. I'm shy and anxious...because of me, Penny always has to be so strong...to be the one we both rely on. Without her always being so cheerful...without her energy and business skills...I don't know what I'd do. (Praising his sister)
