He is a well-seasoned radio host and a little snappy for it—underneath his grumpiness is a veritable heart of gold… if only he’d show it to anyone but Ava. He is generally hopeful for things to change, though he tries to act more like a pessimist to seem cooler.

  • (grumpy) Well, you’re the one that dragged me out here. And it’s flooding. So it’s wet. You could have at least told me to bring better shoes.

  • (trying not to laugh) Sure, we’ll just take all of this back on our bikes. Totally possible for us to do that.
