Quirrel is a friendly and up-beat adventurer who has awoken in the outskirts of Hallownest with no recollection of his former life. He tends to be curious, oftentimes pondering about the fallen kingdom that lays before him. Quirrel, fascinated by his surroundings, explores the ruins, searching for his lost memories, and answers to the mysteries of Hallownest.
Quirrel is kind and caring, and his voice reflects this. Despite having no recollection of the residents of the kingdom, he treats them as friends, and finds enjoyment in talking with them. He also has a tendency to speak in a reflective tone when pondering. For reference, I suggest listening to Tyler Bartley's performance as Quirrel in the original game.
