Neutral/Supporting Character.
One of the seven council members who helps to oversee & govern the entirety of Abyss, a region in hell. Lady Maelstrom (pronounced Mail - Strom) is the matriarch of her kind, the Wraiths, and much like her brethren, she is a deadly demon assassin. Wraiths are supposedly former humans who had given up their souls and humanity in return for something else, eventually becoming killing machines. Trained Wraiths become assassins for Abyss, as they are Abyss' (and Hell's) finest warriors. They are very intelligent. As is the Matriarch herself. Being the Matriarch, she is the oldest of her kind, and has the most experience, having seen plenty of battles and killed many targets. Though she is cunning, she has little to no ambition, which is a trait of her people. She seeks only to maintain the balance of Abyss and the council. Though she has not lifted a weapon in a very long time, it would be foolish to even think of attacking her as it would result in the attacker's immediate demise. Lady Maelstrom is always accompanied by her second in command, a male wraith.

"My opinion matters not. We all serve Abyss. We all uphold tradition and our region's laws. We are all here to ensure we all survive. I would simply advise you stop bickering if you truly want to get something done. Mistress Azienda, you had something you wished to say?" (Composed, practically emotionless in her statement to her fellow council members.)
"I am thinking of eating fish today, what say you, second?" (After killing a would be assassin without a second thought and goes back to conversing with her second in command normally. As if this happened daily and just doesn't affect her, which it doesn't.)
"No matter how many of you there are, be they fifty or a thousand, you will never be good enough to match me. Farewell." (Speaking to a group that is about to try and kill her. She says this right before dispatching them single-handedly and within seconds. She is the only one left standing.)
