The Far Side of Normal
JP Wright Voice Actor for Dean Neresdtan
Protagonist.
A wolf who has learned to transform into a man? Or a man who has the ability who can turn into a wolf? Either way, Dean has ventured beyond the confines of his home in the woods, at the risk of upsetting his pack, all to guide a little girl back home. Since then, he has been on a quest to see what the rest of the world has to offer. He is curious, thoughtful, and generally more understanding than most humans or animals, even though he was raised by wolves. He is still very much an animal though, so he still acts like one.
Wes Ramsey comes to mind in regards to how Dean may sound. Accents are not necessary but feel free to experiment!
"I trust my senses, they have never steered me wrong before." (certain of himself)
"She is a child! She is entitled to live! Just as you and I are!" (outraged)
"You may want to step back... and I apologize for frightening you in advance." (right before transforming into a wolf)
Beautiful work! I may have created these characters many, many years ago, but it's nice to reconsider the way I look at them through different prisms. Hearing all the different accents with each of your approaches gives me something to think about as I decide the right fit for the character. Thank you for a wonderful audition!
Thank you! Glad you liked it.
