Dangenium for Bones
Bones is the captain of the space freighter Oslo. He is sensible and pragmatic, and is also reasonable to deal with. However, he also has a low tolerance for foolishness and does not tolerate insubordination from those who work under him.
Voice type is medium pitch. Firm but also reasonable.
(curious, slightly confused) “No reply on comms. Nothing from the transponder either. They’re just bouncing our own ID back at us.”
(firm when challenged by a subordinate who wants someone else to do the work) “They just got off a thirteen hour shift. It’s you two. Gear up and get over there. Find out what the hell is going on.”
(straining, struggling) “Hurry up, Deezel. The gravity field is... I’m not sure I can...”
Thank you, not bad actually! I found the pacing a bit slow which made it feel a little unnatural, but you hit a pretty good tone overall :)
I didn’t even notice I was still doing that. I’m so use to doing that so lines can be easily understood during a live performance for a church who’s drama team I direct and act for, but I should have realized it’s unnecessary in this medium. Thank you for pointing that out, I’m so use to hearing it I wouldn’t have noticed lol
