Riku Shujinko is the protagonist of the story, and the primary narrator. While his voice isn't heard often in the bulk of the game, there may sometimes be moments where he needs to be heard. Typically, he's shy and awkward, much like your typical protagonist in a game like this, but when he needs to be he can be forceful and convincing. He's passionate about what he does as a lawyer, and sees himself as a protector for those who couldn't protect themselves. He's also quite short, at least compared to the other people in the class.
"Well, what you need to remember is that everyone is going to be affected no matter how the trial goes... someone is going to get hurt, or lose something, or have things not go their way. I see my job as less about winning no matter the cost, but rather as making both sides as happy as possible."
