Kimi acts very gentle and reserved around most people, though she tends to smile and has a mysteriously friendly air about her. She is extremely into Lolita fashion so much to the point of modifying her school uniform. She suffers from schizophrenia and tries her best to live her life to its fullest despite her condition.

Age: 17

Grade: Third Year

Height: 5’ 3/4”

Club: president of Sewing and part of the Gardening club

Hobbies: sewing, needle work, embroidery

Likes: pink, Lolita, roses, animals, cute things, sweets, candy

Dislikes: pedophiles, people who use sewing scissors on something other than fabric and/or non-sewing scissors on fabric

Whilst being able to sound like a sweet and cute child would be very good for her character at times, I need someone who can also do mystique calm and charming. It's like her true face VS the persona she put up.

  • “I really like cute things. I would say bunnies are my favorite animal, but cats would be a hard second place. I always love to feed the sweet strays on my walk home.”

“Oh please! No need to say “senpai” or call me Mori! Kimi-Kimi works perfectly! Or just Kimi-Chan.”

“I don’t actually have any faith in the Church, but they make me feel better being around them. I especially love the Church music.”

  • (innocently/coyly seductive) “I’m so glad you came. I was getting all cold and scared waiting for you. But now that you’re here, I feel so much better.”

(as though offended/hurt) “Please, do you mean to insult me in every way? Is this funny to you? You asked me to keep my space and act like we’ve never even met, but then you go and say this to me? I don’t find this at all humorous.”

(distraught) “I HAVE to do this! I have no other choice! If I don’t EVERYTHING WILL BE OVER!”

  • -read these in a very yandere-esque tone-

“Vigilante. Serial killer. Honestly, what’s the difference?”

“I shouldn’t have been born! I shouldn’t even be here! But then you came along…I know they were all lying to me now.”

(eerily cheerful) “Disgusting perverts. All of them. I will kill every last one if I have to.”

Firstly, I'd like to say, you're one of the first people who actually approached Kimi's voice without trying to make her sound like a child, and I thank you for that. My only critique would be that you might need a different sort of inflection during certain lines (though you don't have context, so I can't fault you for that) and at times it got a little monotonous and receptive. However, I do really enjoy your voice and the sound you have and think it has a lot of potential for Kimi! I'm also very tickled to see how excited you are and that you like the character too. I do like what you have, so if you want to check out anyone else or my other projects, I'd love to hear more from you! Thank you for your audition, by the way!

Oh my goodness thank you so much for the positive feedback! That makes me so happy to hear you like how I voiced her! She’s a fantastic character and I love that she has her actual personality and then the so-called mask she wears. It’s so much fun playing characters with underlying yandere-esque personalities. If you want I’d be happy to re-record and try to get some different inflections in the lines? I’ll definitely check out other characters and projects you have going on!

You don't need to redo your audition unless a little later I ask for it like a sort of callback thing, but you can if you want to. And I'm glad you like Kimi's layers, she's one of my favorites both in aesthetic and personality (and it's fun to write a character that has a hobby of killing pedophiles).
