For this role there are two things that are extremely important:
She has to sound like a kid.
She has to sound deeply, deeply worried about her mother.
Because this is an audio log, any mic quality and any mic will be fine for this audition.
Jenna:
LINE 1:
****Here she needs to sound confused. She senses something isn’t right.*****
What about Saint James? Where did he go?!! He said he'd take me to my mom! Where are we going?!!
LINE 2
***Basically they’re on the way to see her mom but the guy says that they need to see his friend first.
She’s frustrated about this. Also, she’s deeply worried about her mother. ****
Jenna:
A friend?! Who are we gonna see? (desperate)(worried about mother)I.....I...*need* to see my mom! I need to know that she's okay! (worried) (near tears) (DEEPLY worried)That picture you sent me...(DEEPLY worried) (almost in tears)..she....she looks *really* sick...… (snifels)

Jenna:
(For this part, I want her to feel like she’s in a hurry. The guy says he’s going to see a friend. This guy is stalling her. She wants to see her sick mother. Also, on her last line when she says she’s thankful, it’s not like a ‘OH MY GOD, THANK YOU SO MUCH!’. Rather, it’s more of a polite “thank you” that you would say to an acquaintance.)
Ok……Please hurry!…...I just want to make sure my mom is okay!................... Thank you for helping me find her
LINE 5:
Jenna:
(Needs to have angst in her voice. Imagine you have a huge backpack that you’re carrying up a hill and you’re asking to take it off. It’s like that but be polite and nice about it)
Um……Can I take this off? I *really* don’t like this…... It hurts my neck
LINE 6:
Jenna
(For this part I need her to sound desperate and in anguish. She doesn’t know this guy. She’s asking him to swear that he’ll lead her to her mother. I need that emotion to be real. )
Okay...........(snifels)....*Promise me* you'll take me to my mom!!. You promise, right?!
LINE 7:
Jenna
(agreeing) (still worried)…Um..ok. ...(heavily breathe in) (heavily breathe out) (sniffles) I hope she's okay.
Ok, some feedback. But it's hard though lol. I need the voice to be higher pitched. Even more so. It has to be higher than your voice but lower than kanen’s voice. I like the VOICE of akariki lee. That’s like the right amount of pitch. Ok, let’s go over the voice acting: I like the acting of Line 1 and Line 2 by kanen's second attempt ==> https://www.castingcall.club/auditions/132912 There's tremendous angst and desperation in her voice that is perfect! Line 3 is easy. Everybody can do line 3. Line 4. Your line 4 is good but when she says "Thank you for helping me find her" it's got to be more mellow. Because he hasn't done it yet. Up to this point, it's words. But she's thankful that she's gotten this far..but still....it's words....and it's a stranger. So think of it this way. If someone saved me from a burning house, I'd be like THANK YOU SO MUCH! But if a stranger gave me a present on my birthday at a birthday party, my tone would be like.."Thank you (bows head)" Line 5: Everyone nailed this one. Line 6: I like breep5's line 6. Her line 6 is awesome. Line 7..is technically easy. Hope this helps.
Whoops. This was intended for Oh-gee below. However, parts in here talk about the overall script too. In your case, your voice is perfect. Youv'e got the voice! But I'd like your emotions to be like line 1 and line 2 of kanen's second attempt and your line 6 to be like breep5's attempt.
