COMEDY SKIT - 252 and 10 - VOICES NEEDED
JasonArnold for Dale
Dale is a long-timer, been in prison for a while and knows the beat at this point. He's a Hard man that is tough to love but remembers what it was like to be young at one point. he meets with Alik and knows for a fact that they won't get along. He finds Alik's antics annoying and dangerous. Dale tries to provide help and advice but when he comes to notice that Alik ain't listening, he gives up and allows Alik to mess up. The role is for an actor that can really give us the impression that they're a hard law breaker, a tough man, gruff and dangerous, but with the ability to be warm if needed. Of course this role is around the 30 - 60 age range so don't be scared to give it a try. Have fun with it.
I don't know who you think you are, but you won't survive this if you keep talking like that. This place will eat you alive and you would have deserved it. This isn't a hotel lad, this is prison
It's full of people that are in here for a reason. It would be wise to not piss them off.Look, You seem like a soft kid trying to act tough to not come across as weak in here. I get it, but it's obvious that that's what it is. Don't walk in to the yard doing...'that' and not expect to be turned into the new punching bag. Just listen to this advice.Keep your head down and keep your mouth shut, at least for the first few weeks. It'll save your life.
Okay, tell me this, how do you think you'll look after your sentence? Your body? Imagine for a minute that you won’t immediately be killed when you step out onto the yard later, and tell me what you think you'll be like once the serum takes it hold and you start your sentence? You think that you'll stay the way you are now? You think your body will take a toll? Your looks?
Thank you for your audition Jason, this was a really solid set of performances. Your strongest one was your second voice, it fit really well with the other actor's lines and they go really well together. Bar anyone else doing a better job (doubtful) in the next few days, I would say that you're the top runner for the role. Well done. - Matt
