Payment:
$30 if the contestant wins BOTH the role of JADED and UNJADED personality combined.
$20 if the contestant only wins the role of UNJADED (this one is harder) personality
$10 if the contestant only wins the role of JADED personality
It is possible to have two winners for this role.
No additional script or additional lines are needed. Please treat the audition as the final version.
Please note that there are two personality types as I am debating on what personality to choose for the character.
This is a woman that you will encounter in the Legion camp. You will only unlock this dialogue after you kill the guards in and outside of the tent that she is in. When you enter the tent, there will be 4 men surrounding a woman. They will attack you when you approach closer. A slave girl will be here with a slave collar around her neck; her clothes are torn. The following dialogue is unlocked.
You don’t have to follow the script verbatim. Go with what feels most natural to you
UNJADED PERSONALITY

PRE-LINE 1:
(Crying…just experienced something traumatic.)
LINE 1: (looking through blurry teary eyes) (Sees four men are dead on the ground)
(trembling voice) (shaking) (light crying) (heavy breathing) (snifeling) runny nose)
Did you….did you do this? Did you kill these men?
LINE 2 (trembling voice) (light crying) (snifeling) runny nose) Those men…they…they....(breaks down crying, breaks composure here, has to sound real, it has to move people. Hard to pull off. The listener should feel sympathy and shock)
LINE 3 Who are you? (crying through words) (voice cracking) Why..are you helping me?
LINE 4 You’re…you’re saying..I’m free? (disbelief, confusion, still crying from before but less, sniffling)(is suddenly aware of a way out)..
(I loved line 5 and line 6 by mocha vampire.)
LINE 5 (embarrassed, crying, pain, anguish, in a panic, frantic) I need to…..I need to change…. I need to get my clothes. (light crying)
LINE 6 (still crying but more calm from before) I’ll meet you outside…(grateful)...Thank you (light crying) Thank you for everything.
JADED PERSONALITY

(Sad voice, blank stare)
-No. I…..have to stay here. My master will be very upset with me. I can't leave

(Sad voice, blank stare)
-Please. My master will be here soon. I can’t talk too long
(Sad voice)
No.(shakes head)...............I don’t want to hurt anymore. He'll beat me.. I....I can't leave.
(Sad voice, blank stare)
I’m sorry. I need to clean this up. I need to clean the blood here. My master..will be very upset....
(Sad voice, blank stare)
Thank you.....(a sad laugh)(shakes head) but I…will *never* be free.
Your line right before Line 1 is perfect! The pre-scene is good. Line 1 seems a bit exaggerated though..but I went and changed the lines a bit to make it easier. Your LINE 2 is very, very strong. Your rendition of LINE 2 is extremely powerful and very, very realistic. Your line 4...she got too happy too quickly. Not sure if that makes sense. There should still be a sense of misery and pain. It's like when someone experiences pain or a loss of a loved one...that pain still lingers....But again your LINE 2 and your pre-LINE 1 is the strongest I've seen so far
To elaborate. This is line 2 and the line I feel was the strongest line 2 in your audition. LINE 2: "(still crying) (but lightly) (shivering) (light crying) (heavy breathing) (sense of relief but just experienced something traumatic)…Those men…they…they....(breaks down crying)"
To elaborate, I really like your PRE-Line 1 and your line 2. For lines 5 and line 6, mocha vampire did excellent on those. The line 5 and Line 6 from mocha vampire has a certain realism to it..that I can't explain. But in total, I'd like someone who could capture all of these emotions.
