Remnants
James R for Lucas
Lucas had a similarly rough upbringing as Sam did- however, his method of coping was rather different. While she became bitter and distant, he developed a wicked sense of humor and enjoys getting close to people. As far as he's concerned, with all the horrible things that have happened to everyone, his job is to put a little positivity into everything he does. When he manages to get Sam's eyes to light up, he considers the day a good one.
Though he's a bit of a jokester once you're on good terms with him, he can be just as lethal as anything else you encounter in the wastelands. As captain of the Remnants' guard, his job is to protect the base and ensure that all of its inhabitants, military and civilian alike, are safe. He cares very deeply for his people, and would have a hard time coming with an answer of what he wouldn't do to someone who threatened them if it meant keeping them safe. Despite first being apprehensive of Clark, he was far quicker to trust the man and form a friendship with him than Sam was. Wherever Clark goes, he knows he can count on Lucas to be there and back him up.
His demeanor is lighthearted, often jovial, and his first language is sarcasm. He especially enjoys teasing Percival. However, his serious moments are more than enough to scare most people. Use the old voice actor's lines in the previous episodes as a reference if need be.
Don't worry. I'll make sure you don't fuck up!
Oh, don't be put off- that's as close to a 'thank you' as you're gonna get from Percy.
The title of Remnant carries a lot of weight behind it. Everyone's heard of you in these parts- to them, you're something larger than life. And what you said earlier? I respected that. Just make sure you honor that- alright?
