Kaichi is a big talker. In his previous life he was one of the youngest people to win an adult martial arts tournament, and it largely got to his head. He cares very much about his friends and has a big heart, but his brain has a hard time catching up sometimes. He's by no means an idiot, quite the opposite having been an honor student. Despite this, he often speaks on impulse and can seem rather aggressive, but he's often more bark than bite.

This is pretty much the only role that's entirely open to any accents. I'm particularly leaning towards a high timbre italian style accent, but british, north american, and asian accents are all welcomed to audition. I'd compare the actual cadence and timbre of his voice in my head to Angel Dust from Hazbin Hotel, but I'd be very happy if you proved me wrong!.

Kaichi is one of the primary characters of the overall story, and as such will be appearing in multiple shorts with between two and twenty voice lines each. Payout is of course flexible and can be arranged on a per-video basis (or voluntarily.)

Kaichi is a scarfox, an original species developed by Kakiwa on deviantart. https://deviantart.com/scarfox-realm

  • (Heated) Yeah? I bet I could take you all on with my eyes closed! S-See? They are closed!

  • (Sad) ...I guess I just used to know so much about myself and my place in the world, but now I'm just another voice screaming into the void. And I can't even hear it.

  • (Humoured) Oh yeah you're a real fighter, that's why you've got two gorilla hands always draggin' around right?

Thanks for the audition! Unfortunately I don't feel as though the voice itself is a match overall. On the acting front, this is pretty decent but I think you could improve it by working on your vocal projection a bit. At a few points the voice sounds a little bit shaky (not just during the lines where it's appropriate) and it kind of takes away from the tough guy persona Kaichi maintains (Even if he's more bark than bite.) Focus on trying to keep things level. I do want to commend you though on speaking clearly and maintaining an overall consistent voice, it's well done! Just not what I'm looking for
