Kaichi is a big talker. In his previous life he was one of the youngest people to win an adult martial arts tournament, and it largely got to his head. He cares very much about his friends and has a big heart, but his brain has a hard time catching up sometimes. He's by no means an idiot, quite the opposite having been an honor student. Despite this, he often speaks on impulse and can seem rather aggressive, but he's often more bark than bite.

This is pretty much the only role that's entirely open to any accents. I'm particularly leaning towards a high timbre italian style accent, but british, north american, and asian accents are all welcomed to audition. I'd compare the actual cadence and timbre of his voice in my head to Angel Dust from Hazbin Hotel, but I'd be very happy if you proved me wrong!.

Kaichi is one of the primary characters of the overall story, and as such will be appearing in multiple shorts with between two and twenty voice lines each. Payout is of course flexible and can be arranged on a per-video basis (or voluntarily.)

Kaichi is a scarfox, an original species developed by Kakiwa on deviantart. https://deviantart.com/scarfox-realm

  • (Heated) Yeah? I bet I could take you all on with my eyes closed! S-See? They are closed!

  • (Sad) ...I guess I just used to know so much about myself and my place in the world, but now I'm just another voice screaming into the void. And I can't even hear it.

  • (Humoured) Oh yeah you're a real fighter, that's why you've got two gorilla hands always draggin' around right?

Thanks for the audition! Unfortunately this sort of falls more into the stereotypical pizzeria owner type italian accent and less into an Italian-American one. It would be fit for a comedy, but unfortunately isn't for this role.

Thank you for the feedback. My voice does not have a high timbre to it so I did not think I would be a good fit, but I figured I would give it a shot at least. In terms of accents, Italian is one of the hardest for me to emulate, so I apologize if I made it stereotypical or overly comedic for the role. Thank you for your time and good luck on the project!

No need to apologize! Nothing wrong with auditioning, you never really know until you try right?

Exactly, plus the actor you found for this role was spot on! I know they will help realize your character and make your project succeed!
