Voice: Childishly high-pitched and a bit boyish. He speaks pretty delicately.
An honest boy who lives up to his namesake. The most common place you’ll find this Cove is somewhere along the seashore. He has a mild temperament and enough child-like curiosity to take an interest in just about everything.
It’s a tumultuous time in Cove’s life. With his parents having recently separated and moving to a new place, days end in tears as often as they do in smiles. But he never gives up on what he cares about.
“I'll try to get something for you. Then we can be even.”
(Mild, casual, relaxed, sweet. Cove’s friend helped him catch a firefly and he wants to return the favor.)
“Is this your hill? I can leave if it is...”
(Sad, distant, guarded. Cove ran off to be by himself but someone he didn’t know found him. He’s trying to talk calmly, but is still unhappy and nervous.)
“Hey, cool crash! I think Jamie was the first one at the bottom!”
(Amused, excited, shouting to the bottom of a hill. Cove was acting as a judge to determine who rolled to the bottom of a hill fastest. It ended with the participants colliding, which made him laugh)
