Frank Griffith is the primary lead of "Left Behind". Having not seen his sister for over ten years, Frank has assumed her dead, until he sees a woman he believes is his sister in photos in the possession of his closest friend, Anita Boden.

Frank is a very serious character, as his primary goal is finding his sister at any costs. However, he should not sound too monotone or too "manly". The key to Frank is being able to channel both his frustration and care for both Aubrey and Anita in his lines.

Some additional notes about Frank:

- He is in his early to mid 20's. Keep this in mind.

- His voice should have a lower pitch, though if you capture the character well and do not fit perfectly into the vocal pitch, you can still be cast.

- He can stutter over his words when he is particularly frustrated. However, do not go overboard with this. It is better to not force stuttering at all if you can not do it effectively than it is to try it and not have it work.

  • (To Anita) Are you telling me that you've known where my sister was for two years? Two years, Anita? And you never told me?

  • (To himself) Part of me thinks this is some sort of trick, but... if Aubrey really is out there, I just have to know for sure. No matter what her reason for being gone so long is, I just need to know she's out there and is fine.

Sorry for getting to this audition late! So, the biggest issue is that your audio sounds a bit unclean, as if perhaps your recording space needs a bit of work. That said, it can potentially be fixed in editing. The performance itself is good, but I think you need to bring just a bit more emotion to it.

Thanks for the feedback! I can definitely make some changes to my setup, but for the most part I am working in a closet haha. As for the emotion, would you want me to resubmit an audition or just let this stand?

I would never tell someone not to try again if they believe they can improve! If you feel you can do better, please do resubmit!
