Sophie 492 lives in a world where the corporate overlords decide every rule, including what people are allowed to wear. Not purchasing enough from the corporations is a crime tantamount to treason. It's also a crime Sophie is guilty of. The city's robotic police officers chase her down and corner her, before a freshly regenerated Doctor accidentally comes to her rescue. By crashing a TARDIS on top of them. Sophie takes her in, and helps her adjust to this new world while they wait for the TARDIS to show up. Sophie has always dreamed of traveling the world, and now that dream will come true. Except, on her first adventure, the TARDIS merely travels in time instead of space. They land back on her planet 20 years in the future, where the Cybermen have risen. In the end, they're defeated, and Sophie decides to stay behind to help rebuild her world.
