Born with a single wing on his back, Kalas is seemingly easy-going, living only for himself, uncaring of how his actions affect others. Behind his carefree exterior is a jaded young man who has seen far too much injustice to let anyone into his heart.
Important Notes: Hot-blooded. Feisty. Act first, think later. Kalas is a complex character who goes from generally disinterested and nonchalant to emoting quite a bit. He will be yelling and shouting a lot. I will be looking for a confident voice who is not afraid to let loose a little.

(annoyed) That's your share of the loot, enough to shut you up I hope!
(contemplatively) Suppose we escape, but leave everyone to die. Even if we do save the world, could you live with yourself? (Xelha mentions this may be their only chance to escape) I know… But if the only future we have means leaving these people to die, then I want no part of it. Besides, I don’t intend to lose.
(distressed/ desperate) I'm right here! You'll be alright, it's just a scratch! It'll heal in no time! We made a promise, remember?
(in anguish) NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
I really liked the way you delivered "who cares!" in your second take of line 1. You're good at playing up the sarcastic and laid-back tone, and it sounds very natural. The first part of line 2 should hold a bit more weight and sound more contemplative though. Right now, it sounds a little light-hearted for someone wrestling with a difficult decision. The desperation in the second part of line 2 was delivered quite well, but the yell in line 3 sounds as though you're holding back a bit.
