Majora's Mask: 20th Anniversary Tribute
JohnDoyle for Darmani III
Voice Range: Low
Character traits: Mournful, determined, a leader, strong
In life, Darmani was a renowned Goron hero. He was considered the greatest warrior of his tribe and possible heir to the Goron throne. He suffered a terrible accident when he ventured to Snowhead Mountain to find and stop the culprit that was causing the devastating winter that threatened his people. On his way to the Snowhead Temple, Darmani was knocked off the path and into the deep valley below by the blizzard caused by Biggoron and lost his life.
While tough and strong, in the afterlife he is a mournful and lingering spirit, so this should play into how he talks to Link.
[formal, friendly] I am Darmani the Third. The blood of proud Goron heroes runs in me. This feels strange for me to say, but when I was alive, I was a renowned warrior and veteran.
[informing] I was fine until I marched off to Snowhead by myself, hoping that I could drive off a demon. It had been wreaking havoc on Goron Village...Then the blizzard at Snowhead blew me into the valley...And now...Here I am...
[pleading, mournful] Heal my sorrows... Any way that you can do it will suffice... Please... heal my sorrows.
That sounds amazing! Great job! :-)
Thanks so much! I really enjoyed reading for Darmani and hope to further expand my repertoire of Gorons as my life continues. Thanks for listening!
Duuuuuuude your Darmani voice is awesome! It's incredibly accurate!!!
Thanks very much! I'm glad that you liked it. Darmani is a really cool character to voice because it gives me an opportunity to act far tougher than I really am without anyone shaking their head at me in disapproval. Thanks again for listening!
Nicely done dude! I'll be taking notes, lol
Thanks very much, man! I wish I could offer helpful advice or notes of my own but in general, I prepare for my goron roles by curling into a ball and rolling everywhere as fast as I can. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it. Thanks again for listening!
This is incredible! Great Job John D :)
Thanks a ton! I'm still getting used to receiving praise, but I appreciate every bit that I get. Thanks so much for listening!
Your welcome, it is well deserved praise for the great job you did :)
