Scousler
I am an MFA candidate in Fiction, a writer of horror and dark, urban fantasy. I wanted a chance to write something that could be performed and that lay outside the bounds of normal audio content. That said, I have an immense soft spot for old radio dramas of the early 20th century and draw inspiration from them for many of my creative projects.
My current project is The Distant Silence Radio Hour, a call back to earlier radio mysteries and serials from the 20s, 30s, and 40s, but also incorporates Lovecraftian themes as well as more modern considerations like a re-assessing of how horror "others" marginalized groups like those in racial minorities or with neurodivergent backgrounds.

Steven was a real pleasure to work with. He was clear in his expectations and directions, providing me the script and feedback in a timely fashion. The script was an enjoyable read and I really loved bringing the role of Jude to life for him. I would love another opportunity to work with him again some time. As creators go, you cannot go wrong by working on a project with him! 5 star creator and we need more like him!

Steven was one of the first people I got to voice for on CCC, and it was such an experience to dip my toes in horror for the first time. Steven is very easy to work with, professional, and passionate about his projects. I am very thankful he took a chance on me!
